BFG Boots
The original BFG
The BFG is the limited-edition cowboy boot Alvies designed with Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top. It launched in October 2021 as our first co-designed boot, after about a year of work.
Billy was involved at every step, from early inspiration to pinstriping, leathers and thread colors. The design drew on hot rod culture, rock ‘n’ roll and old school Hollywood. It had a ¼ snip toe, a higher heel and a pocket built in for a guitar pick.
We made 1,000 pairs in each of three colors, 3,000 pairs in all. The original BFG is no longer for sale.

The BFG II
The BFG II is a separate, later boot, also co-designed with Billy. It comes in 32 Highboy Black and Whiskey Runner Brown.
